Below are some of the most frequently asked questions as well as some unique questions we believe will be helpful to you. Below each question is our answer.

Q: What charts do you use?
A: I use 10 min CANDLE charts.
Q: What indicators do you use?
A: I use advances and trin aligned with charts of the QID and QLD. My primary indicator is volume and MACD.
Q: What Stops do you use?
A: I vary between the 5 main types of Stops:
- Fixed $ (e.g. $100 or $500)
- % risk (e.g. 1% or 2%)
- Volatility risk - a combination of % risk and volatility
- Moving Average
- Another technical indicator for support / resistence (e.g. previous high/low or Linear Regression)
Q: How many screens do you use?
A: I use 4 (run of 2 or 3 laptops), but a trader only needs 2--one for charting, and one for the trading platform. (My other 2 - I use 1 for futures views and one for other charts that I may be following as well as the chat room.
Q: I want to join your room. What do I have to know about the stock market?
A: No prior knowledge/experience is required. Everyone from the investor to the most active of day traders can learn and benefit from participating in our chat room.
Q: How much money do I need to start day trading?
A: Most firms require you deposit at least $25,000 but there are also a number of firms out there that allow you to trade with a lot less. These firms may offer you margin which increased the potential of gain and loss. We suggest you trade with SMALL share sizes to ensure you can handle the trade psychologically and that your emotions do not get the best of you. We suggest you do not trade through a browser-based broker but find a firm that allows you to trade with Direct Access.
Q: How much does my membership cost?
A: The monthly membership is available at a cost of $99 per month. A trial is available for $49 for the first 4 weeks.
Q: What software do I need?
A: None. Once you have become a Member you will receive an email containing the required information to participate in our chat. You will be provided a username and password which will allow you to access the chat room on a daily basis. You must use your username when signing into the chat room so we can identify you as a user.
Q: I have not received any (or I have stopped receiving) alerts via e-mail. What is the issue?
A. Increasingly, ISPs are using filtering systems to try and keep spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you want to receive. Please read our information on white-listing before contacting Customer Support! Thank you.
Q: Why is there a shipping address required for an e-mail service?
A: Your shipping address is used for credit card verification purposes.
Q: I just subscribed to one of your services and I can't access the articles. Why is this?
A. Because order information is manually verified and updated in our customer database, there may be some lag time (less than 24 hours) before you can access the articles.
Note: After subscribing, if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail containing your username and password, please send an e-mail to CustomerSupport@StockBarometer.com. We suspect that some e-mail services may mistake our auto-generated confirmation e-mails as spam and prevent you from receiving them.
Q: How do I access the articles?
A. Once you sign in, you will have access to only the services to which you have subscribed. To access the articles for a service, click on the graphic tile for that item on the home page. You will then see a list of articles for that service. To view each article in its entirety, click on the headline or the "More..." link.
Q: When I call, I get an answering service. Why don't I get a live person?
A. We provide a phone number that utilizes an answering service. When you leave a voice message, that message is converted to an audio file and is e-mailed to us as an attachment. This allows us to provide 24-hour support, even on weekends, handle all customer questions via e-mail, and maintain a record of all calls.
Q: Can I pay by check?
